Here is the first leaked image of the upcoming Sony FE PZ 16-35mm F4 G lens. This new lens with code name SELP1635G is scheduled to be officially announced on March 22, 2022.
The lens has the letters “PZ” in the model name and has a zoom lever on the lens barrel, so it looks like a power zoom lens. Also, according to the image, this new ultra-wide-angle zoom seems to be a G lens and replace the current T * FE 16-35mm F4 ZA OSS.
This new lens will cost £1299 is about 203,000 yen, but if this is the price including 20% VAT, it may be a little cheaper in Japan.
