Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 and 10-18mm f/2.8 DC DN Contemporary Coming on October 5th

Sigma Japan has posted a teaser for the upcoming product announcement on October 5th. They will announce the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 and Sigma 10-18mm f/2.8 DC DN lenses.

It’s been a long time since rumors started circulating, and it seems that Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 for E mount and L-mount mirrorless cameras is finally coming.  In addition Sigma 10-18mm f/2.8 DC DN Contemporary lens will be announced. This lens will be available for E / L and X-mount.

This is going to be an affordable alternative to the current super expensive (and excellent performance) Sony FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II Lens.

Sigma has a launch event on October 5th at 8 a.m. EST where they will announce the:

  • Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 for E/L-mount
  • Sigma 10-18mm f/2.8 DC DN  for X / E / L-mount
