It is now confirmed from three different sources that Sony will announce the Sony FE 20-70mm f/4 G Lens on January 17th, 2023 at 3pm London time.

- Similar size as the Sony FE 24-105mm f/4 G OSS lens
- Sharper than the Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM lens
- Extremely low distortion
- Filter diameter is 72mm
- Price is €1599
- Announcement on January 17
In addition, Sony is very likely to announce the FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM II lens at CP+ 2023, which is scheduled to be held in February 2023.
