Sony FX30 Announcement in Late September; 26MP APS-C Sensor, 4k@120p

It seems that the next camera model Sony will announce will be the Sony FX30. According to recent leaked rumors, Sony FX30 will be an APS-C E-mount Cinema camera. The current information we have is that the Sony FX30 body structure will have a very similar design to the previously released Sony FX3 (Adorama | B&H | Amazon). In terms of features, the Sony Fx30 will be offered with a 26MP APS-C sensor and the official announcement is expected later this month. The Sony FX3 is Sony’s most compact and lightweight Cinema Line camera that is ideal for handheld shooting, gimbal and drone-mounted work, and it bridges the gap between the portability of the a7S III and the capability of the FX6.

The FX3 powered by the well-known Sony NPFZ 100 batteries used on cameras like the A7 IIIA7R IIIAlpha a6600, and A9 II.
